Vancouver Island Recreational Trail Mapping Project
The
VIRecTrailMappingProject intends to collect all of your gps waypoints and tracks and input them into an on-line GIS system for everyone's use.
The foundation of our web GIS will be
GIS WebServer, created by the University of Minnesota, NASA and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.

- GPS Babel for converting waypoints, tracks, and routes from one GPS format to another. Example of use: inputing my Magellan 500 track into your Garmin 76 so you can ride my track.
